I was born in Salt Lake City, UT and have lived here my entire life. I went to two local Lutheran schools for my primary education. I recently graduated from Westminster College here in Salt Lake City with a B.A. in International Business.

I currently work for the Modern Companies (Modern Display, Modern Expositions, and Ensign Floral as their IT Director for end user and infrastructure support and what not. I do some web design independently on the side and you can see some examples of my work on my Portfolio page.

I have a penchant for anything that involves computers and specifically I enjoy design for print and the web. I also consider photography a hobby, but I am no professional. I just like to play. Look at my Portfolio page for some of my better works. As for publication design, I get a bit of that with my work and like to help people out with problems or brainstorming.

I love to read about political happenings, and politics are interesting to me but not of interest as a profession. My leanings are left of center, but I like to discuss the goings on with anyone of any inclination.

I am also interested in international travel as this broadens my perspective on life. I usually travel once or twice a year outside of the country, but recently my job has hampered this. I just like to see the world and get a better view (and get those enviable stamps in my passport).

I spent the fall semester of 2006 in London working at the US Embassy, and that was an amazing experience. I also recently finished an internship with the Utah Export Assistance Center in Sandy, UT for some great international business experience. As for my plans, I hope one day to move to another country or get a job with an international business so that I can more easily fulfill my dream of travel and exploration. Other places severely interest me, and my life goal is to set foot on every continent, and hopefully as many nations as possible.
