FarmVille Profit Sheet

Being a FarmVille nerd that I am, I wanted to collect the data from the FarmVille market and put it into a spreadsheet so that I could analyze the best profit. This sheet is available here (Google Docs) should you like to manipulate it yourself. I am still missing the info on Broccoli, so if anyone has it I would love to update the sheet. The rest is below the fold:

Update: I've updated the chart and spreadsheet with new stuff in a new blog post.

Rise of the Rest

An interesting video visualizing some data about the USA, China, and India.

From the video:

China's working population will peak in 2015, and India's in 2035. Will they get old before they get rich?

It's definitely an interesting thought to see how a one child policy and a rising middle class will impact the ability of the Chinese middle class to support an aging population, especially in terms of health care and social security.

Daybreak Beach

RSS Subscriptions

128px-Feed-icon.svgSo I was adding yet another site to my RSS reader (what's RSS?) and I thought I would post a list of all my sites that I follow on here. Many times I'll tell people about new and exciting things and they'll ask me where I found it at. Generally this list of sites is where I hear about them. I think my RSS reader says more about me than any simple bio page could. The list, after the break.

Personal Genome Project

sequence100b

Yay! I just got accepted into the Personal Genome Project! This is a project run by Harvard to take personal genomics to the next level. Over the next year or two, I will submit tissue samples and medical histories to help, with 100,000 other volunteers, compile a national database of genetic history and information. I'm excited to be a participant in this project and look forward to helping this brave new world of science.
