Death Cab for Cutie @ Red Butte

On Monday we went to see Death Cab for Cutie up at the Red Butte Garden's amphitheater.

They have a great venue that overlooks the city and has wonderful acoustics. It was a really great time with some nice music. Ra Ra Riot and Andrew Bird were also in attendance, and their music was wonderful too.

The show was sold out but we still managed to get a decent seat to enjoy the performance. The best part about Red Butte is that you can bring along your own picnic, so my mom brought some wonderful frozen fruit, sandwiches, sushi, cookies, and Arbor Mist. It was a wonderful summer time event ending with a great view out over the city at night.
